Qualifications

  • Graduate of Legal Management or any related course (preferably a Law Student)

  • With at least 6 months of relevant experience working in a law firm, as legal assistant, or any related experience

  • With excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Organizational and Planning Skills

  • Records Management Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

  • Detail-oriented

  • Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Ability

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proofread reports and documents submitted

  • Must be well adept in handling legal forms for filing (17-C, etc.)

  • Facilitate board committee meetings

  • Coordinate schedules and necessary arrangements and equipment prior to meeting

  • Transcribe proceedings and draft minutes of meeting

  • Handles requests and prepare secretary's certificate and facilitate signatures on the approved minutes of the meeting and report requirements to be submitted to the regulatory agencies

  • Maintain corporate and confidential records

  • Timely submission of all drafts reports other documents.
